Insufficiency is when you don’t have enough of something to do what you need to do.
Imagine you’re building a tower with blocks. You want it to be really tall, but you only have five blocks. No matter how hard you try, your tower can’t be as big as the one your friend built with twenty blocks. That’s insufficiency, not having enough blocks to make the tower as big as you’d like.
Like Not Having Enough Snacks
Think of it like this: you’re at a picnic and want to eat lots of snacks. But you only brought one cookie, and your friend has ten. You can’t eat as much as they can, that’s insufficiency too!
Sometimes, not having enough isn’t about the number of things you have. It could be about how good they are. Like if you need a big cup of juice to feel full, but you only have a tiny cup.
Insufficiency is just when you don’t have enough, whether it’s blocks, snacks, or anything else you need to do something fun!
