An individualist is someone who believes that each person should make their own choices and follow their own path.
Imagine you're at a playground, and there's a big group of kids playing tag. Most of them all run in the same direction, chasing each other like a crowd. But one kid, let’s call her Lily, decides to go off on her own. She picks a tree, sits under it, and starts drawing pictures. Even though everyone else is running around having fun, she's happy doing something different.
That’s what being an individualist means: choosing what you want to do instead of just going along with the rest of the group. It doesn't mean you don’t like others, it just means you believe in making your own decisions and following your own ideas.
Like a Unique Puzzle Piece
Think of people as puzzle pieces. Most people fit into the same big picture, like a group drawing or a team game. But an individualist is a piece that might look a little different, maybe it has extra colors or shapes, and it still fits in the bigger picture, but in its own special way.
You can be an individualist even if you're part of a group, it’s just about choosing what you want to do.
