What is inclusion?

Inclusion means making sure everyone can be part of the fun, no matter what they look like or how they move.

Imagine you're playing in a sandbox with your friends. There's a big slide nearby, and everyone wants to go down it. But one friend has wheels on their shoes, they roll right past the others! At first, some kids might feel left out because they can't roll as fast. That’s when inclusion steps in: someone decides to build a ramp so everyone can reach the slide easily. Now everyone gets to play together, no matter how they move.

Why it matters

  • Inclusion is like giving everyone the same tools to join the game.
  • It's not about changing who you are, it’s about making space for all kinds of people.
  • When we include others, we make the world bigger and more fun for all of us.
