Inclination is how much something tilts from being straight.
Imagine you're sliding down a slide at the park. If the slide is really steep, it's like going down a mountain, that’s high inclination. If the slide is almost flat, it’s more like rolling on the grass, that’s low inclination.

Inclination in Space
In space, planets and moons also have inclination. Imagine Earth is a toy car moving around the Sun. If it goes in a perfect circle, that’s no inclination. But if it moves in a bit of a slant, kind of like going around the Sun on a wobbly path, that slant is its inclination!
So, inclination is just how much something tilts from being straight, whether it's a slide, a ruler, or even Earth!
Examples
- A slide in a playground has an inclination, it's how steep the slide is.
- Ramps used by wheelchairs are examples of inclined planes.
