Immigration is when people move from one place to another to live permanently.
Imagine you're playing with your favorite toy blocks. You build a tall tower in your room, but there's not enough space for all your friends to play together. So, some of them decide to go to a bigger room, that’s like immigration! They move from their old place (your room) to a new one (the bigger room), and they stay there so they can keep playing and growing.
Why People Move
Sometimes people move because they want better opportunities. Maybe they’re looking for more food, or a job that pays well, or a school where they can learn new things. Other times, it’s because their old place got too crowded or not safe anymore, like when your room gets too messy and you need more space to play.
What Immigration Means for Everyone
When people move in, they bring new ideas, new friends, and sometimes even new games. It makes the bigger room (or country) more interesting and fun for everyone, just like how playing with more friends can make a game more exciting!
