What is hydration?

Hydration is when your body gets the water it needs to stay strong and happy.

Imagine you're playing with your favorite toy, maybe a ball or a building block. When you play for a while, you might feel thirsty. That's because your body uses up some of its water, and it needs more to keep going. Hydration is like giving your body a drink so it can keep playing, running, laughing, and growing.

How It Works

Your body is like a big, busy city. Every part, your brain, muscles, even your skin, needs water to work properly. When you drink water, it travels through your body like a road trip, helping everything stay cool and active.

If you don’t get enough water, it’s like the city runs out of fuel. You might feel tired or grumpy, just like when your toy car stops moving because it doesn’t have any batteries left.

So remember: hydration is just giving your body what it needs to keep being awesome!
