A hotel is like a big house where many people can stay for a little while, just like they do at home.
Imagine you're going on a trip with your family and you need somewhere to sleep when you get there. A hotel is that place, it has lots of small rooms called bedrooms, each one for a different person or family. When you arrive, you check in with the person who runs the hotel, like how you might tell your teacher at school that you're coming.
Like a Big House with Many Rooms
Each room in a hotel is like having your own little house inside a bigger house. You can have breakfast, play games, or even swim in a pool if the hotel has one. Some hotels are small and cozy, while others are huge and fancy, just like how some houses you know are small and others are big.
When it's time to leave, you say goodbye to the hotel by checking out, like when you pack up your backpack after school.
