What is holistic?

Holistic means looking at everything together instead of just one part.

Imagine you have a toy box full of blocks, balls, and cars, all mixed up. If you only look at the blocks, you might think that's the whole toy box. But if you take a holistic view, you see all the toys, the blocks, the balls, and the cars, and how they work together to make your playtime fun.

Like Putting on Your Shoes

Think of putting on your shoes. You use both feet, right? If you only focus on one foot, you might forget about the other. But when you put them on together, you can run and jump better. That's being holistic, seeing how everything connects to make something bigger.

A Happy Garden

Another example is a garden. A holistic gardener doesn’t just water the flowers; they also check the soil, the sun, and the plants nearby. All these parts help the whole garden grow happy and strong.

So, being holistic means thinking about all the pieces, not just one, to understand how everything works together.
