What is higher?

"What is higher?" means we're asking which thing goes up more than the other one.

Imagine you and your friend are both jumping on a trampoline. If you jump really high and your friend just bounces a little, we would say you went higher because you moved up more than them.

Now think of two buildings next to each other. One is short like a toy block tower, and the other is tall like a big tree. The tall building is higher because it goes up more than the short one.

Sometimes we use numbers to figure out what's higher. For example, if you have 5 cookies and your brother has 3, you have more cookies, so you have a higher number of cookies.

Just like stacking blocks or climbing stairs: the more steps you take, the higher you go!
