High pressure is when stuff gets squished really tight, just like when you press your toy together so hard it can’t move much.
Imagine you have a balloon filled with air. Now imagine pressing down on the top of it with your hand, like you're trying to make it fit into a tiny box. The air inside has nowhere to go, it gets squished, and that’s what we call high pressure. It's like when you’re in a crowded elevator, everyone is close together, and there’s not much space for anyone to move.
What High Pressure Feels Like
If you’ve ever been in a really tight hug or sat on a hard chair for too long, you know what it feels like to be squished. That's similar to how high pressure works, the more something is pushed together, the higher the pressure becomes.
Think of water in a bottle. When you squeeze it from the outside, the water inside gets squeezed tighter, and that’s high pressure in action!
