What is hierarchical?

Hierarchical means things are organized like a family tree, some things are bigger or more important than others, and they have smaller parts that follow them.

Imagine you're looking at a big tree in your backyard. The trunk is the main part, it's like the big boss. Then there are branches coming out of the trunk, and each branch has smaller branches on it, and then leaves. Each level depends on the one above it.

Like a Classroom

Think about a classroom. The teacher is at the top, they give orders. Then there are groups of students, and inside each group, some kids might be helpers or leaders. So the teacher → groups → students → helpers, this is like a hierarchy too!

It's also like stacking blocks: you put one on top of another, and each one holds up the ones below it. If you take away the big block at the bottom, all the others might fall over.

So when things are hierarchical, they’re arranged in layers, some parts support the others, just like in a tree or a classroom!Hierarchical means things are organized like a family tree, some things are bigger or more important than others, and they have smaller parts that follow them.
