What is Groups of 24 hours?

Groups of 24 hours are like time blocks that help us count how many days have passed.

Imagine you're playing with your favorite toy, let's say it’s a clock. Every time the clock goes from midnight back to midnight, that’s one full group of 24 hours, or one day.

Like a Day at the Park

Think about going to the park in the morning and coming back when it’s dark again, that’s like one group of 24 hours. You played for a whole day!

If you go to the park every day, you can count how many groups of 24 hours have passed by counting your days at the park.

A Week is Like 7 Groups

If you go to the park 7 times, once each day, that’s 7 groups of 24 hours, and that makes a whole week!

So, just like you count how many times you play at the park, we count how many days have passed by counting groups of 24 hours.
