What Makes Air "Good"?
Good air is air with tiny things called particles in it. These particles are small, like dust or smoke. When there are too many of these tiny things floating around, they can make it hard to breathe, kind of like trying to drink soup through a straw that's full of noodles.
But when the air has just the right amount of these little bits, your lungs can work smoothly, and you feel refreshed, just like after a good nap or a cool drink on a hot day.
Examples
- Walking outside on a sunny day and feeling refreshed
- Opening a window after being in a stuffy room
- Feeling more alert after breathing in the morning air
