Freedom is when you get to choose what you want to do, without someone telling you otherwise.
Imagine you have a toy box full of your favorite toys, cars, blocks, and stuffed animals. Freedom is like having the whole toy box open, and no one is stopping you from picking any toy you want. You can play with all of them, or just one, it’s up to you!
What Freedom Feels Like
If someone says, “You have to pick the red car only,” that’s not freedom. That’s like having a small box with just one toy, you don’t get to choose anything else.
But if the whole big toy box is open and no one is telling you what to do, then you are free to play however you want. You might even switch toys halfway through, that's part of the fun!
Freedom in Everyday Life
When you’re at school or with friends, freedom means you get to pick which game to play, which snack to eat, and when to go home. It’s like having a big toy box in real life, full of choices!
