What is football?

Football is a game where two teams try to move a ball from one end of a field to the other.

Imagine you're playing tag with your friends, but instead of just running after each other, there are rules and goals. In football, teams take turns trying to get the ball into the end zone, which is like a special area at the end of the field. If they succeed, they score a touchdown, kind of like getting tagged first in tag!

Each team has players who run, jump, and tackle each other to help move the ball forward or stop the other team. Some players are big and strong, like your dad when he plays with you; others are fast and agile, like your brother when he races you to the fridge.

When the game starts, a coin is flipped to decide who gets to go first, it's like flipping a coin to see who will be "it" in tag.
