What is follower?

A follower is someone who follows another person or thing to learn from them or go where they go.

Imagine you and your friend are playing a game of tag at the park. Your friend runs fast, and you run after them because you want to catch them. In this case, you are the follower, and your friend is the one being followed.

Like a Leader and Helper

Think of a follower like a helper who always goes where their leader goes. If your teacher walks to the library, and you walk with her, you're following her lead, just like a puppy follows its owner.

Sometimes, followers help others by learning from them or copying what they do. It's like when you copy letters in school, you’re being a follower to your teacher’s handwriting!

Follower in Real Life

In real life, people who follow each other could be best friends walking to the same place, or even a class of students following their teacher through a hallway.

So remember: A follower is someone who goes where others go, just like you might follow your friend on a fun adventure!
