How FITS Works
FITS stands for File Interchange System, which is like giving each toy a special label and putting them in labeled boxes.
- When you put your toys away, you pick the right box based on what kind of toy it is.
- Later, when you want to play with your cars again, you just look for the box labeled "cars", no more digging through everything!
This way, you can find what you need faster and keep everything neat.
Why It's Useful
Examples
- A FITS file is like a special envelope that holds pictures from space, so scientists can easily share them around the world.
