What is FIFO (First In, First Out)?

FIFO means the first thing to go in is the first thing to come out.

Imagine you're at a toy store line. The person who gets in line first is the one who gets to pick their toy first. That’s exactly how FIFO works! It's like a queue, everyone waits in order, and when it's your turn, you go next.

Like a Toy Line

Think of a line at a playground. The first kid to get in line is the first one to ride the swing. The second kid gets to ride after them, and so on. No skipping, just waiting in order.

Like a Lunch Line

Or imagine you're in a school lunch line. The person who got there first gets their food first. Everyone else waits for their turn. That's FIFO in action!

So whether it's toys, food, or anything that needs to be handled in the order they come, FIFO keeps things fair and simple, just like waiting in line!
