What Does It Feel Like?
Imagine you have your favorite toy, maybe a teddy bear or a ball. When you see it, your heart feels warm and happy. Falling in love is kind of like that, but with another person. You feel happy when you're around them, and you want to spend time together.
Why It Happens
Sometimes, you meet someone who makes you laugh, or they know exactly what to say when you’re upset. They might be good at drawing, or really good at telling stories. When you feel this way about someone, it’s like your brain is saying, “Hey, this person is special, let's hang out more!”
You don’t need anything fancy for love to happen, just being together and feeling happy can start something wonderful.
Examples
- A new friend becomes someone you can't stop thinking about.
