FAD is when something becomes really popular for a while, and then people stop caring about it after some time.
Imagine you're in a playground, and all your friends suddenly start jumping on a trampoline every day during recess. It's super fun at first, everyone laughs, you feel happy, and you want to join in too! That’s like a fad, something that everyone is excited about for a while.
But then one day, the trampoline breaks. No one wants to jump on it anymore. You go back to playing tag or swinging on the swing set. The trampoline was the fad, and now it's just another toy in the corner, forgotten and not used anymore.
Sometimes, people try to make the trampoline fixed again, but most of them just move on to something else that’s new and fun. That’s how FAD works: it comes, it goes, and then there's a new thing to be excited about!
