What is Eradication?

Eradication is when we get rid of something completely, like cleaning up all the crayon mess so there's none left.

Imagine you have a box of crayons, and one day, you decide you never want to see that purple crayon again. So you take it out of the box, throw it away, and make sure no one can find it anywhere else. That’s like eradication, getting rid of something for good.

How It Works

When we eradicate, we don’t just hide or move things. We remove them entirely from where they belong. It’s not enough to just put the purple crayon under your bed; you have to make sure it doesn’t come back, maybe even throw it in the trash and burn it!

Why We Do It

Sometimes, people eradicate things because they’re annoying or harmful. Like when you take out a really loud toy that keeps waking you up at night. You don’t just turn it off; you throw it away so it can never bother you again.

Eradication is like the ultimate clean-up, no more mess, no more trouble! Eradication is when we get rid of something completely, like cleaning up all the crayon mess so there's none left.
