What is Enlil?

Enlil is like a super strong wind that can move mountains and make the sky change colors.

Imagine you're playing with your favorite toy car on a really windy day. The wind pushes your car around, making it go faster or even tip over. That's kind of what Enlil does, but much bigger! Enlil is a god from ancient stories who controls the wind and storms. He can make the weather change, like when it goes from sunny to rainy in just a few minutes.

Think of Enlil as the boss of all the winds. When he gets happy, he sends gentle breezes that help plants grow. But when he's angry, he sends strong storms that can knock down trees or make waves crash on the shore. Just like how you might feel excited and run around a lot, or get upset and throw your toys.

People in ancient times would look up at the sky during big storms and think Enlil was showing his power. They didn't know about weather patterns yet, they thought the wind had a mind of its own, and that Enlil was the one controlling it!
