What is Dust, smoke, and pollution?

Dust, smoke, and pollution are like tiny invisible friends that sometimes come along for a ride in the air, but not always the best kind.

Dust is like when you shake out your rug and little bits of stuff fly up into the air. You can see it if there's lots of it, especially when the sun is shining through it, it looks like tiny specks dancing in the light.

Smoke is what comes out of a fire, like when you burn a candle or a piece of paper. It’s like the fire is sneezing little bits of itself into the air, and sometimes it makes your eyes feel funny.

Pollution is when there are too many of these tiny friends in the air, from cars, factories, and even people cooking, and they make the air not so fresh anymore. It's like if you had a big party with all your invisible friends, but there was no room to breathe!

Sometimes pollution makes it hard to see clearly or feel good when you're outside, just like how too many people in one room can make it hard to hear what someone is saying.
