What Happens When You Drink Alcohol
When you drink something with alcohol in it, like soda, wine, or beer, the alcohol goes into your body through your mouth and stomach. It then moves to your brain, where it starts playing tricks on it.
Your brain is like a super smart robot that controls everything: how you walk, how you talk, and even how you laugh. But when alcohol gets in there, it’s like giving the robot a silly hat, all of a sudden, you might trip over your own feet or say something really funny out of nowhere.
How You Know Someone Is Drunk
If someone is drunk, they might:
- stumble like they’re walking on clouds
- laugh at things that aren’t even funny
- talk louder than usual, like a loudspeaker
- sing songs even if they don’t know the words
It’s kind of like when you eat too much ice cream, your brain gets a little sleepy and silly from all the alcohol inside it.
