What is display?

A display is like a window that shows you what’s going on inside a device, just like the front of your favorite toy.

Imagine you have a toy car that can light up and play music. The lights and colors you see when it turns on are the display, they’re how the car tells you it's working! Just like how the window in your room shows you what’s inside, a display shows you pictures, videos, or even words on devices like phones, tablets, or computers.

How It Works

Think of the display as a big grid made up of tiny squares called pixels. Each pixel can change its color, like when you mix red, blue, and yellow paint to make new colors. Together, all these little squares create the images you see on your device’s screen.

When you tap or swipe on a phone, it's like pressing buttons on a toy that changes what you see, the display shows different pictures based on what you do! A display is like a window that shows you what’s going on inside a device, just like the front of your favorite toy.
