What is Dionysus?

Dionysus is like the party king who makes everyone laugh and dance, even when they don’t want to.

Imagine you’re at a picnic with your friends, and suddenly someone brings out a giant bucket of bubblegum. You all start laughing, jumping around, and blowing bubbles everywhere, that’s what Dionysus does, but for celebrations! He’s the god of wine, music, and fun.

When people drink wine, they often feel more silly and happy, just like when you eat too many candy bars and can’t stop giggling. Dionysus is behind that feeling, making sure every party has enough laughter, dancing, and maybe even some wild costumes.

Sometimes, Dionysus gets so excited about parties that he turns forests into big dance floors, trees shake, animals join in, and people wear masks to pretend they’re something else. It's like when you throw a surprise party for your toy robot and it starts doing backflips!
