Development is when something grows or changes over time, just like how you grow taller and learn new things every day.
Imagine you have a small plant in a pot. At first, it's tiny, maybe only a few inches tall. But if you give it water and sunlight, it starts to get bigger. Its leaves become wider, and soon it’s growing new stems and flowers. That’s development, the process of changing and growing.
Like Building a Tower
Think about building a tower with blocks. You start with one block on the bottom. Then you add another on top of it. Soon you have three, then four, and before long, your tower is tall enough to reach the ceiling! Each time you add a block, that’s a step in development, just like how you learn new things every day.
The More You Practice, the Better You Get
When you learn to ride a bike, at first it’s wobbly. But each time you fall off and get back on, your balance gets better. That's also development, little changes adding up over time until you're riding smoothly like a pro!
