A developer is someone who builds things using instructions that computers understand.
Imagine you have a toy box full of blocks, each block represents a piece of a game or app. A developer is like a kid who figures out the best way to stack those blocks so the whole thing works perfectly. Instead of blocks, they use something called code, which is like a list of instructions for the computer.
Building with Code
Just like you might build a tower using red and blue blocks, a developer uses code to create games, websites, apps, even robots! They write these instructions in special languages that computers can read. It's kind of like writing a recipe, but instead of telling someone how to bake a cake, they're telling the computer what to do.
Sometimes developers work alone, and sometimes they team up like a group building the biggest block tower ever. Either way, they’re always trying new ways to make things work better, just like you try different shapes to see which makes your tower strongest.
Examples
- Imagine someone using blocks to build a house, that's what developers do, but with computers.
