What is decision-maker?

A decision-maker is someone who picks what to do when there are choices.

Imagine you're at a candy store, and you want to pick one piece of candy. You look at all the colors, red, blue, green, and you choose your favorite. That’s like being a decision-maker! You’re picking between different options.

Like a Chef Picking Ingredients

Sometimes, a decision-maker is like a chef choosing what ingredients to use for a cake. The chef has flour, sugar, chocolate, and maybe even sprinkles. They think about which ones will make the best cake, and then they pick! That’s how a decision-maker works: looking at options and picking the one that feels right.

A Decision-Maker Can Be Anyone

You can be a decision-maker too! When you decide what to wear in the morning, or which game to play with your friends, you're making decisions. Every day, you’re choosing, and that makes you a decision-maker!
