What is cycle?

A cycle is when something happens over and over again in a pattern, just like how you get up, play, eat, and go to sleep every day.

Like a Bouncing Ball

Imagine you have a ball. You throw it up in the air, whoosh! It goes up, then comes back down into your hands. Then you throw it up again. That’s a cycle! The ball keeps going up and coming back down, over and over, like a little dance.

Like the Sun and Night

Another example is the day and night. The sun comes up in the morning, hello!, then goes down at night, goodbye!, and then it comes up again the next day. That’s also a cycle! It's like the sun is doing a little loop, going up and down every 24 hours.

So whether it's a bouncing ball or the sun saying hello and goodbye, a cycle is just something that keeps repeating in a fun, predictable way, just like your daily routine!
