What is corrupt?

Corrupt means something is broken or not working as it should be.

Imagine you have a favorite toy robot that dances when you press its button. One day, you press the button, but nothing happens. The robot doesn’t dance, it just sits there, sad and still. That’s corrupt, the robot isn’t doing what it was supposed to do.

What Makes Something Corrupt?

Sometimes, a toy can become corrupt because of a tiny mistake inside it. Maybe a little piece of its brain (we call that a circuit) got mixed up or broken. It's like if you had a puzzle and one piece was in the wrong place, the whole picture doesn’t look right anymore.

How We Fix Corrupt Things

When something is corrupt, we try to fix it. Maybe we press the button again, or we take the robot apart to see what’s wrong. If we find the broken piece, we can put it back and make the robot dance again!

So, corrupt is just a fancy word for “not working properly”, like your toy robot when it stops dancing.
