Cooperation is when people or things work together to reach a common goal.
Imagine you and your friend both want to build a really tall tower with blocks. If you each just try to stack your own blocks separately, you might not get very far. But if you decide to help each other, maybe you take turns adding blocks, or you share the same pile, your tower can be much taller and stronger! That’s cooperation in action.
Like a Team of Friends
Think about when you and your friends all want to play a game but need to follow some rules. If everyone works together, like passing the ball, waiting for their turn, or helping someone who trips, the game is more fun for everyone. That’s cooperation too!
When Things Cooperate
Even things that aren’t people can cooperate! Like when you ride your bike and the wind helps push you forward, you’re both working together to go faster. Or like when two toy cars pull a rope and move toward each other, they're cooperating to make something happen.
Cooperation makes life easier, more fun, and sometimes even magical (but not too magical, just really good teamwork!).
