Like a Big Family
Imagine you have a big family, and the most important member is your grandpa. He loves everyone in the family and wants them all to be happy together. In Christianity, God is like that grandpa, he created everything (like the sky, the trees, even your favorite toy) and wants people to love him and each other.
A Special Friend
There’s also a very special friend in this story: Jesus. He was a real person who lived a long time ago, and he taught people how to be kind, share, and forgive. Some Christians believe Jesus is God's son, like the grandpa’s favorite grandson.
When people say they're Christian, it means they believe in God and want to live a happy life by following Jesus’ example, just like you might follow your brother or sister to learn how to be better at playing games!
