What is chaos?

Chaos is when something that looks simple can turn into something wild and hard to predict, like a tiny push can make everything go totally different.

Imagine you're on a swing. You just need a little kick to get going, right? Now imagine there's a breeze, not too strong, just a gentle one. That breeze might make your swing go higher than expected. But if the breeze changes even a little bit, like it suddenly becomes stronger or comes from a different direction, you might end up swinging way higher, or maybe even stop completely! It all starts with something small, but things can get wildly different because of it.

Think of chaos like playing with dominoes. If you knock over the first one just right, all the others will fall in order, that's easy to predict. But if you push the first domino just a tiny bit harder or at a slightly different angle, the whole line might fall in a messy way, or even not fall at all! It’s like how small changes can lead to big surprises, and that’s what chaos is all about.
