What is Chang’e program?

China has a space program called the Chang’e program, named after a moon goddess from Chinese stories. It’s like when you build a tower with blocks, each level helps you go higher.

Like a Moon Adventure Game

Imagine playing a game where you send little explorers to the moon. The Chang’e program is just that, China sending robots to explore the moon, one by one. Each robot has its own job, like taking pictures or collecting rocks.

Building Up to Big Goals

The first robot was like your friend who tries to climb a hill, it went to the moon and came back. Later ones were more like friends who stayed on the moon to study it for a while. Some even brought moon rocks back home! It's like when you go on a trip, take photos, and bring souvenirs.

China wants to keep going, maybe one day they’ll send people up there too, just like astronauts in other space programs.
