What is Canada?

Canada is like a big, friendly neighborhood that has lots of different houses and people living in it.

Canada is a country, just like your school or your town, but way bigger! It's so big that it could fit the whole United States inside it, like putting all your toys into one giant box. Canada has cities, which are like busy playgrounds where lots of people live and work. It also has forests, mountains, and even ice in some places, kind of like having a snow cone every day for months!

Like a Big Family

Canada is made up of different groups of people, just like how your class has kids from all over the world. Some people speak English, others speak French, and many have traditions from their families that are as old as your grandparents.

A Country That Grows

Canada also grows lots of things, like wheat, potatoes, and even oil! It’s like having a giant garden and a big kitchen all in one place. People in Canada work together to make sure everyone has food, homes, and fun things to do.

Canada is a friendly, growing neighborhood with many different people and places, just like your own town, but way bigger!
