What Makes Broadway Special
Broadway shows are like the biggest, most exciting plays or concerts you can imagine, but they happen in New York City, on a street called Broadway. Think of it like your school play, but instead of just your class watching, thousands of people come to see it every night!
How It Works
People who act, sing, and dance are called performers. They learn their lines and moves for weeks or even months before they go on stage. When the lights go down and the music starts, it’s like a big party, except everyone is watching a story come to life.
Sometimes you might see the same show many times, but each time feels new because the performers are so good at making you laugh, cry, or tap your feet!
