What is Broadcast?

Broadcast is when one person sends out a message, and many people can hear or see it at the same time, like sharing something fun with your whole class.

Imagine you're in a big room full of friends, and you have a loudspeaker. When you press the button, your voice comes out of the speaker, and everyone in the room hears it right away. That’s like how broadcast works: one person (or group) sends a message, like music, news, or a show, through a special channel, and many people can receive it all at once.

Think about when you watch your favorite cartoon on TV. The people who make the show send it through the air or over wires to your house. Your television gets that signal and shows the show on the screen, just like how a loudspeaker helps everyone hear you at once.

Or imagine you're in the car with your family, and you all listen to the same song on the radio. The radio picks up the music from a station that sends it out to many cars at the same time, that’s broadcast too!

Broadcast is like sharing something fun with lots of people at once, just like when you shout across the playground and everyone hears you!
