How It Works
Breathe happens in two parts:
- You inhale, which means you bring air inside your lungs, like filling up a balloon with air.
- Then you exhale, which is when you let the air out, like letting the balloon slowly pop.
Every time you take a deep breath, your body gets fresh air that helps your brain and muscles work better. It's like giving yourself a tiny boost of energy!
Why We Breathe
Your body needs oxygen from the air to keep going. When you breathe in, your lungs catch the oxygen and send it to your blood, which carries it all around your body.
When you breathe out, your body sends back the old air, kind of like a mini cleanup.
So next time you take a breath, remember: you're doing something super important, just like your favorite toy that keeps running when you wind it up!
