Brainstorming is when a group of people come together to think of lots of ideas all at once, like when you and your friends try to guess what game to play next.
Imagine you're in a room with your classmates. You all want to pick the best game for recess, but no one knows which one to choose. That's where brainstorming comes in! Everyone starts shouting out ideas, like "Let’s play tag!" or "Let’s build a fort!" No idea is too silly or too strange. Even if someone says something weird, like "Let’s turn the playground into a giant pizza," that’s okay, it might lead to an even better game!
Like a Crazy Salad
Brainstorming is like making a crazy salad. You throw in all your favorite vegetables (like ideas), and sometimes you add things that don’t seem related at first, just for fun. Later, when you sit down to eat, you might pick out the best parts, just like how a group picks the best game from all the crazy ideas.
After everyone shares their thoughts, the group can decide which idea they want to try, and then the real fun begins!
