The brain has two hemispheres, which are like two halves working together to help you think and do things every day.
Imagine your brain is like a toy box with two sides, one for building blocks, and the other for drawing pictures. Each side does different jobs, but they both help you play.
Like Two Best Friends Working Together
The left hemisphere is like your best friend who loves to read books and do puzzles. It helps you understand words, count numbers, and write stories.
The right hemisphere is like your other best friend who loves to draw and dance. It helps you imagine things, recognize faces, and feel happy when you hear music.
Sometimes they work together, like when you’re reading a story and drawing a picture of what you see. Other times, one side takes the lead while the other rests.
So even though your brain has two halves, they're always playing together to help you learn, grow, and have fun!
