What is bourgeoisie?

The bourgeoisie is like the group of people who own and run the biggest stores and factories in town.

Imagine your neighborhood has a big toy store that everyone loves to visit. The person who owns that store, and maybe even has other stores or a factory where all the toys are made, is part of the bourgeoisie. They have lots of money and power because they control how things are made and sold.

• They usually own businesses or big parts of them.
• They make decisions about how much people get paid.
• They often live in nice houses, drive fancy cars, and have more toys than most kids!

Think of it like having a lemonade stand. If you're just making lemonade by yourself, that's one thing. But if your family owns the biggest lemonade company in town, with lots of stands, trucks to deliver the lemonade, and even a special logo, then you’re part of the bourgeoisie!
