What is boule?

Boule is a fun game where people roll a ball to try and knock down other balls.

Imagine you're playing with your toy cars on the floor. You take one car and push it toward some other cars, trying to bump them off the track. That's kind of like boule, but instead of toy cars, people use round balls, and they roll them on a smooth surface called a pitch.

How the game works

In boule, players take turns rolling their ball close to a small white ball called a jack. The goal is to get your ball as near as possible to the jack. If you're really good, you might even knock other balls away from the jack!

It's like playing a game of closest to the target with your friends, except instead of throwing paper airplanes, you're rolling balls.

Why people love it

Boule is easy to learn and can be played anywhere there's a flat surface. People of all ages enjoy it because it’s relaxing, friendly, and full of simple joy, just like playing with your favorite toys on the floor.
