What does "boom" feel like?
Imagine you're playing with building blocks. You stack them all up high, and then whoosh, the whole tower falls down in one second! That’s boom, everything happens quickly, and there's a big sound or shake.
Why do we say "boom"?
When something goes from calm to wild in an instant, like when you press a button on a toy that suddenly lights up and plays music, that’s also boom. It's like the toy was sleeping, and then it wakes up with a boom!
Sometimes, boom is even louder, like when a big truck zooms by outside your window, and everything feels like it shook! That’s boom, too.
Boom is just a fun way to say something happens suddenly and strongly. It's not magic, it's just how the world works sometimes!
