How It Works
Think of it like this: Blinn-Phong uses two ideas, one for how light bounces off things (diffuse reflection) and another for how light sparkles on smooth surfaces (specular highlight). Diffuse is like when you color a paper ball, the color looks the same from all sides. Specular is like when you see a bright spot on your shiny water bottle when the light hits it just right.
