"What is bigger?" means we are comparing two things to see which one takes up more space or has more of something.
Imagine you have two boxes, one is your lunch box, and the other is a big toy box from the store. If you put both on the floor, the toy box looks like it’s taking up more room. That means the toy box is bigger than your lunch box.

Using Your Hands
Put your hands together like a sandwich, that’s how big your hands are when they’re close. Now stretch them apart as wide as you can. When your hands are stretched, they cover more space. That means your hands are bigger when they're stretched out than when they’re close.
Bigger just means more of something, like room, height, or number.
