"What is banned?" is like asking what you can't play with on the playground.
Imagine you're at a big playground with lots of rules, some say you can climb the monkey bars, but others say you can’t because it might break them. The things that aren't allowed are called banned. So when something is banned, it means people decided you can’t use it or do it anymore.
Why Things Are Banned
Sometimes, a rule gets added because someone didn’t like what happened before. For example, if your friend took too many cookies from the jar and made a mess, the grown-ups might say cookies are banned until the jar is cleaned up.
Other times, people ban things to help everyone. Like if you're playing tag and one kid runs way too fast, they might say running too fast is banned so no one gets hurt.
What Happens When Something Is Banned
When something is banned, it’s like having a “no go” sign in front of your favorite slide, you can’t use it until the rule changes. But sometimes, people try to sneak around the ban, just like how you might hide behind the swings to take an extra cookie!
