What is Azerbaijan?

Azerbaijan is a country where people live and grow fruits and vegetables, just like you do at home.

Imagine your favorite fruit, maybe an apple or a banana. Now picture a whole land full of orchards, gardens, and farms. That’s kind of what Azerbaijan looks like! It has big green areas where people grow crops, and it also has cities with buildings, cars, and busy streets, just like the ones you see in your neighborhood.

Azerbaijan is next to the sea, imagine playing on the beach every day. But it’s also got mountains nearby, like when you climb up to the top of a hill and see everything from above. This mix makes Azerbaijan special: it has both nature and people, just like your house has both a kitchen (for cooking) and a living room (for playing).

People in Azerbaijan speak a language that sounds different from yours, but they do things similar to you, they eat food, play games, go to school, and sometimes even dance!
