What is asymmetric?

Asymmetric means things are not the same on both sides, one side is different from the other.

Imagine you're holding a slippery banana in your hand. If it's symmetric, like a round apple, it feels the same whether you look at it from the top or bottom. But if it’s asymmetric, like that banana, one end might be pointy and the other is flat, so when you hold it, it doesn’t feel balanced.
