What is arms?

Arms are the parts of your body that help you move and touch things.

Imagine you're playing with your favorite toy car. When you push it, or pick it up, you’re using your arms. They're like stretchy ropes attached to your shoulders, they can bend, twist, and reach out to grab or hold on.

How Arms Work

Your arms are made of bones, muscles, and joints that work together. The bones are like sticks inside your body; the muscles are like bands of rubber that help you move those sticks. When you want to lift something, your muscles tighten up and pull your bones into action, just like when you stretch a slinky!

Arms in Action

Think about drawing with crayons or throwing a ball. Your arms make all those movements possible. They let you reach for your snack, wave goodbye, or even hug someone you love.

So next time you use your hands, remember: they're powered by your amazing arms!
